Conditions of Membership
By signing the Clarence Regional Library membership form you agree to:
• accept all library policies and all future amendments. Library policies are under constant review and continuing membership depends on acceptance of any changes.
• present your membership card to borrow or to use the Internet.
• accept responsibility for all items borrowed on your card and those for which you act as guarantor.
• pay all applicable fees and charges, including but not limited to replacement costs for lost, damaged or stolen items. Refer to display in branches for a current list of fees and charges.
• report any damage to items.
• notify and provide proof of change of address.
• report a lost membership card immediately. This is to ensure that no books are borrowed with your card after its loss. You will be held responsible for any items borrowed on your card until the loss is reported. A charge applies for a replacement card.
• return or renew items by the due date. A fee will be charged for overdue items.
• respect the rights of other library users.
• respect the right of library staff to issue instructions or apply conditions to the use of library resources.
