Overview

The Clarence Regional Library is committed to providing a services to all Clarence Valley and Bellingen Shire residents. A part of this goal creating welcoming, inclusive and accessible spaces and provide accessibility services, resources and facilities. On this page is a list of the accessibility features that are available in each of the library's locations.

Car

The Library has a limited number of accessible parking spaces in its car park located each side of the library entrance. Access via Pound Street. 

Please note that the Library does not have an accessible drop-off zone.

You can find other accessible parking spaces at the Grafton Food Emporium across the street. Access via King Street or Queen Street. 

Bus

Taxi

The Grafton Radio Taxis Co-op services the Greater Grafton District. Direct bookings and office enquiries can be made on (02) 6642 3622

There is a taxi rank out the front of the library building.

Train

The Grafton Train Station is 2.5kms from the Grafton Library. There are several options to get from the train station to the library including bus, taxi or on foot. See the other sections for details.

The Library has x3 accessible car parks -

  • 1 at the front entrance, in an accessible drop off zone. Access via Stanley Street.
  • 2 at the carpark entrance at the side of the library. Access via Alexander Street.

You can find other accessible parking spaces either in the carpark behind the library. Accessed via Centenary Drive. 

Bus

The Library has two accessible parking spaces in Bonville Street which are directly connected to a walking path to the library.  

You can find other accessible parking spaces at Bowra Street opposite the Spar Supermarket, and in the public cark on the corner of Bonville Street and Newry Street.  

Bus

The bus stop is located on the corner of Bowra Street and Bonville Street.

Taxi

The Taxi service in Urunga and the surrounding Bellingen Shire is provided by Bellingen Shire Taxi Services (operated by The Community Transport Company). You can book a standard sedan, maxi taxi, or wheelchair-accessible vehicle by calling (02) 6655 2221. 

The taxi rank is located in Bowra Street outside the Art Space building and opposite the bus stop. It is advisable to pre-book as taxis do not wait there for passengers.

Train

The Urunga Train Station is located on Orara Street. The Library is a 5 minute walk from the Station, or a 2 minute drive. See the other sections for details.
