Multicultural Services (LOTE)

Clarence Regional Library caters to the needs of its library members by providing access to foreign language material from the State Library of NSW.

Languages Other Than English (LOTE) – please place an Information Request for a bulk loan of foreign language material by using either our online Ask a Librarian Information Request Form or contacting your nearest branch.

Request a LOTE bulk loan

Please include details about:

  • the language required
  • the type of reading interests required (e.g. romance, crime/mysteries, biographies, junior picture books, fiction, non-fiction subject areas)
  • if the books are for children – the age and gender is helpful for selection of fiction items.
  • the more information the better!

This list of languages is always expanding so if are looking one that is not listed head to the state library to see if it has been added 

Talking books and large print, dictionaries and medical dictionaries and bilingual children’s books are also available.
