The upstairs area of Grafton Library is currently closed while we wait for roof repairs. In the meantime, we’re excited to welcome the community to our Library Hub, open downstairs via the side door next to the returns chute.
The Grafton Library Hub is open:
- Weekdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturdays: 9:30am – 12:00pm
At the Hub, you can:
- Browse a selection of books and other materials
- Pick up reserved items and/or get help to place Reservations
- Use our public computers (limited availability – bookings recommended)
- Print, photocopy or scan from a USB (USBs available to borrow or buy; cash only)
- Read through the latest newspapers or take home a jigsaw puzzle
- Use study desks with BYO devices or loan a ‘Hublet‘ tablet.
- Join group events like Getcha Game On, Vintage Film (from November), Knitwits and more
- Get tech help from our friendly staff or access the free Wi-Fi
- Take part in school holiday activities that are running out of the Library Hub
- Join us for our regular Storytime sessions
Please note that larger events, including the upcoming Mini Writers Festival in October, will be held at offsite venues. Meeting rooms and other upstairs spaces remain closed until further notice.
Roof repairs will be a major project that should start early next year but we don’t yet have a confirmed timeline for reopening upstairs. In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you at the Hub and continuing to provide the library services you love.
